CA urges Libya to recruit more Bangladeshi manpower

Chief Adviser (CA) Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed Sunday called for boosting Bangladesh-Libya trade and recruiting more skilled manpower from Bangladesh, reports BSS.
The CA said this while Libyan ambassador to Bangladesh Ahmad Ateya Hamd Al Imam paid a courtesy call on him at his office in the city.
After the call on, briefing the newsmen, Press Secretary to the CA Syed Fahim Munaim said the Libyan ambassador appreciated the reform steps undertaken by the government under the leadership of Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed.
Al Imam said Libya attaches great importance to its relationship with Bangladesh and both the brotherly countries are devoted to strengthening bilateral ties.
Emphasising on increasing bilateral trade, Dr Fakhruddin said Libya can import quality products at a competitive price from Bangladesh including garments, pharmaceuticals, frozen fish and light engineering items.
