Call for reducing maternal deaths to zero level

RANGPUR, Apr 18 (BSS): The field level family planning workers can play a vital role in reducing the rate of maternal-neonatal death to zero through motivating the common people to attain the millennium development goals (MDGs).

Lawmaker Nazmul Haque Pradhan said this Friday while addressing the representatives' conference of the District Field Level Employees' Association of the Family Planning Department at the Shilpakala Academy auditorium in Panchagarh as the chief guest.

With district unit President of the organisation Ahsan Habib in the chair, its central committee President Toffael Ahmed, General Secretary Farida Yasmin, district JSD President Abdul Mazid Babul and Secretary of Panchagarh Shilpakala Academy Abu Toyabur Rahman addressed the conference as the special guests.
