Call to be alert fighting AIDS

CHITTAGONG, Dec 06: General Manager of the Factory of Unilever Bangladesh Ltd, Rajeeb Barua called upon all to remain caution while fighting the deadly disease-AIDS as it posed a serious threat to civilisation. He was presiding over a meeting arranged by the company at its Kalurghat factory premises on the occasion of the World AIDS Day.
Speaking on the occasion as the chief discussant, Professor Dr AQM Sirajul Islam termed the greater Chittagong region as a risky area as the people of Myanmar regularly visit there through Teknaf border.
