Campaign on disabled children’s rights

Nari Unnayan Shakti (NUS) organised Saturday a campaign programme on rights of children with disabilities at Banasree NUS's Training Centre. International Culture University, Forum for Culture and Human Development and Fatema Kamal Foundation jointly supported the campaign programme, says a press release.   

Dr Afroja Parvin, executive director of NUS presided over the event while Hamida Khatun, executive director of Fatema Kamal Foundation was the chief guest.

The chief guest in her speech strongly demanded of the government for ensuring the food security of disabled persons. Abdul Momin, administrative officer of International Culture University urged the government and NGOs for reducing the stigma.
