CA's Relief Fund receives Tk 12.8m more in donation

Thirty-three more individuals and organisations have donated over Tk 12.82 million (1.282 crore) to the Chief Adviser's Relief and Welfare Fund for the country's flood victims, reports UNB.
The donors handed over cheques for the amount to Chief Adviser Fakhruddin Ahmed at his office.
Those that donated the money included Standard Bank Limited Tk 2.5 million, AB Bank Tk 2.0 million, Bangladesh Ship Breakers' Association Tk 3.0 million, Bangla Link Tk 0.96 million, FBCCI Tk 1.0 million, Bangladesh Reconditioned Vehicles Importers and Dealers' Association Tk 1.0 million, Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industries Tk 0.25 million, Dhaka Bar Association Tk 0.1 million, Chittagong Tax Lawyers' Association Tk 0.1 million, Radio Foorti Tk 0.2 million, Jagannath University Tk 0.21 million, Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology Tk 0.1 million, Ideal College Tk 0.1 million, Bangladesh University Tk 0.1 million, American International University-Bangladesh Tk 0.6 million, BAF Shaheen College Kurmitola Tk 57,655, BAF Shaheen College Tk 48,815, BAF Shaheen College, Jessore Tk 15,000, BAF Shaheen College, Paharkanchonpur Tk 5,115, Mohammadpur Prepara-tory High School Tk 0.17 million, Inner Wheel District 328 Bangladesh Tk 0.12 million, Bangladesh Public Service Commission Secretariat Tk 70,000, Bangladeshi expatriate Sajjad Hossain living in Abu Dhabi Tk 6,259 and another Bangladeshi expatriate living in Qatar Tk 15,000.
Chief Adviser appreciated them all for their humanitarian gesture for the flood-hit people.
