CCH earns Tk 272.44b revenue in FY \\\'14-15

CHITTAGONG, July 2: Chittagong Customs House (CCH) has earned Tk 272.4401 billion (Tk 27,244.01 crore) in the just concluded fiscal year (FY), 2014-15, against the target of Tk 269.3378 billion.

The country's biggest revenue earning house has crossed the target by Tk 3.1023 billion in the FY, a statement of the CCH said.

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) set the target by revising it upward thrice, sources said.

Assistant Commissioner of the CCH Abdulla al Mamun said the initial target until June 4 last was Tk 250.32 billion. On June 24 the target was reset at Tk 250.9832 billion and finally the target reached Tk 269.3378 billion.

In the month of May revenue earning reached the highest amount at Tk 26.5539 billion.

In July 2014 the earning was Tk 19.15 billion, in August Tk 22.7721 billion, in September Tk 22.6353 billion, in October Tk 19.4209 billion, in November Tk 20.7233 billion, in December Tk 23.0929 billion, in January 2015 Tk 22.7081 billion, in February Tk 21.4656 billion, in March Tk 22.6644 billion, in April Tk 24.0189 billion and in June Tk 26.45 billion.
