US embassy in Dhaka announced Wednesday that Standard Chartered Bank will not collect Machine Readable Visa (MRV) fee after August 31, reports UNB.
The HSBC will begin collecting MRV fees for visa applications beginning on September 14. The MRV fee receipts will not be available from September 1-13.
Applicants without a fee receipt will not be able to schedule an interview until September 14, said a media release.
The US embassy encouraged nonimmigrant visa applicants who plan to travel in September to apply and to schedule an appointment at Saimon Overseas by August 31.
