Cheque distribution programme held at Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Nov 8: A discussion meeting and cheque distribution programme was held in the auditorium of Gopalganj Deputy Commissioner's (DC) office on the occasion of the National Youth Day recently.
DC SM Asfaque Hossain was present as the chief guest while Gopalganj Zila Parishad Chief Executive Officer Serajuddin Ahmed was special guest. Youth Department Deputy Director Md Kohinoor Mia presided over the function.
A total of Tk 0.3 million (3 lakh) was distributed among eight young women of the district.
Assistant Director Youth Department Gopal Chandra Khumile, TNO Gopalganj Sadar Md Masummur Rahman, Deputy Director Islamic Foundation Gopalganj Anisuzzaman and Secretary Gopalganj Press Club Syed Moradul Islam were also present.
