Chinese Embassy holds 'Happy New Year Festival'

As 2025, year of the snake in the Chinese zodiac is approaching, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China and the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka jointly hosted the "Happy Chinese New Year Festival" Temple Fair, reports UNB.

Gulshan Society Lake Park in Dhaka was beautifully decorated with lights and took on a festive atmosphere on the occasion.

The event is co-organised by the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh. Chinese Ambassador Yao Wen; Cultural Adviser to the interim government of Bangladesh Mostofa Sarwar Farooki; Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan, BNP Standing Committee Member; and thousands of guests from all walks of life in Bangladesh, including politics, economy, culture, and media, gathered at the park to celebrate the Spring Festival. Ambassador Yao Wen exchanged New Year greetings with people from all sectors.
