Masud Bakul and Saif Chowdhury have been selected respectively president and general secretary of education and cultural organisation Dristi, Chittagong for the year 2009-2010.
A 17-member executive committee of the organisation's Chittagong chapter was formed in its seventh council meeting Thursday.
Educationist Safia Gazi Rahman inaugurated the council meeting while Dristi Adviser Md Rosangir Bachchu was present as the chief guest at the function with Dristi President Masud Bakul in the chair. Journalist Omar Kaysar, Dristi General Secretary Saif Chowdhury and Executive Member Mili Chowdhury, among others, attended the function.
