CID to resubmit supplementary CS today

HABIGANJ, Dec 20 (BSS): Complying with the order passed by a Habiganj court, Criminal Investigation Department (CID) ASP Meherun Nesa Parul is scheduled to submit a fresh supplementary charge sheet (CS) in the murder case of former finance minister Dr Shah AMS Kibria's today (Sunday).

The court of Habiganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Rokeya Akter passed the order on December 3, as previous one got the names and addresses of several accused wrong.

The investigation officer (IO) submitted the supplementary charge sheet on November 13, including names like Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Ariful Huq Chowdhury, BNP leader Haris Chowdhury, Habiganj Municipality Mayor GK Gouse as the accused. But several mistakes were found in the CS.

The IO then pleaded for allowing her to make the correction on November 14, and after holding hearing on the plea, the court passed the order to submit the supplementary charge sheet afresh.
