CJ inaugurates SC Secretariat

Chief Justice (CJ) Dr. Syed Refaat Ahmed inaugurated the Supreme Court Secretariat on Thursday, describing the moment as a historic turning point for the country's judiciary.

The CJ unveiled the SC Secretariat by removing the ceremonial cloth from the cornerstone at Supreme Court (SC) Admin Building-4 at 3:20 pm.

The inauguration was also attended by Judges from the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Dr. Asif Nazrul, Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman, SCBA President AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon, and Bangladesh Bar Council Vice-Chairman Zainul Abedin.

Ambassadors from different embassies, EU Ambassador and Head of Delegation Michael Miller, UNDP Resident Representative Stefan Liller, and Acting Secretary of SC Secretariat Habibur Rahman Siddiquee, among others, were also present at the event.
