The ministry of health has directed the medical and dental entrance coaching centres to remain closed until the admission test is over Friday, reports bdnews24.com.
It also requested the Ministry of Home Affairs to ensure the order, effective from Sunday, was properly followed like before.
The decision has been taken to prevent racketeers and fraudsters from making money by spreading the rumour and selling their concocted questions to the parents, according to the directive.
A record 84,784 students, 15,000 more than the last year, have enrolled themselves for this highly competitive combined exam for all public and private medical and dental colleges.
Nearly 10,000 seats were available for admission.
The one-hour 100-mark MCQ exam will take place in 23 centres across Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Health Services has opened a control room for the admission.
