Condolence meet on Mahbub-ul-Alam held

A condolence meeting was held in the city Wednesday on the occasion of sad demise of poet, language movement veteran and Bangladesh General Insurance Company (BGIC) Limited director late Mahbub-ul-Alam Chowdhury.
BGIC Managing Director AK Azizul Huq Chaudhuri, Principal Adviser Khorshed Alam, Additional Managing Director Kaiser Rahman, Additional Managing Director (Marketing) KM Masum and Deputy Managing Director (Marketing) AH Jaigirder and all staff of BGIC were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, AK Azizul Huq Chaudhuri said that the country had lost an illustrious person and this irreparable loss will never be filled up.
He recalled contribution of late Mahbub-ul-Alam Chowdhury, who continued progress of BGIC.
Mowlana Abdul Halim conducted the prayer.
