Condolence meet reminisces Sabia

A condolence meeting was held at the Shilpakala Academy in commemoration of Sabia Siddique, a freelance journalist who was killed in a city road accident recently.

Nirapad Khadya Andolon organised the meeting to recall her presence in different arenas of life.

Speakers at the meeting expressed views about her contribution to the movement of safe food sufficiency, to the welfare of people by getting involved in the Quantum Foundation and her skill in classical music.

Renowned theatre activist Mamunur Rashid, Aranyak chief secretary Mannan Heera, Nirapad Khadya Andolon organisers Mahboob Shawkat and Badrul Amin, and representatives from Quantum Foundation, among others, spoke at the meeting.
