Condolence meeting on noted journalist Zahirul Huq Thursday

A condolence meeting on noted journalist, former secretary general of the Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and president of the Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) Zahirul Huq will be held at the auditorium of Jatiya Press Club in the city at 3.00 pm Thursday, reports BSS.
Zahirul Huq, also former director general of external publicity wing of the ministry of foreign affairs, died of cardiac arrest Sunday last.
Both the factions of BFUJ and DUJ will jointly organise the discussion and doa mahfil, a press release said Tuesday. The journalists and well-wishers of the deceased have been requested to attend the meeting.
