Construction worker dies after fall from building

A construction worker died on Saturday after falling from a four-storey under-construction building in the city's Sheorapra area at Mirpur.

The deceased was identified as Md Babul Hawlader (43). The fatal incident happened at the under-construction building owned by Star Park Holding Ltd.

He suddenly slipped off the roof-top of the building while watching the ongoing work.

He was rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) where the attending doctor declared him dead at around 10:30 am.
