Coordination among all city corporations urged

Experts at a conference in the city underscored the need for building a strong coordination among all six city corporations through sharing knowledge and information so that proper solid waste management could be ensured, reports BSS.
They also laid emphasis on improving service delivery, performance and efficiency of solid waste management by bringing appropriate reforms within the city corporations.
The conference titled 'Second Bangladesh Solid Waste Management Conference' was organised by Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) with support from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) at a city hotel Monday.
Chief conservancy officer of DCC Commander Maksudur Rahman Chowdhury and Additional Resident Represen-tative of JICA Eiichiro Cho also spoke on the occasion.
