Cop dies in UN Peace Mission

A head constable (unarmed) of Bangladeshi police, posted at the UN Peace Mission in Ivory Coast, died of cardiac arrest on July 20, reports UNB.
The deceased, Mohammad Shaukat Ali, (48), of Sadipur village in Faridpur Sadar Upazila, is survived by his wife, one son and one daughter.
He felt chest pain while engaged in sentry duty at Boundiali camp.
He was at first taken to Nizer Bat Level-1 Hospital and later shifted to a regional hospital in Korhogo where he died after admission.
Shaukat joined Ivory Coast Peace Mission in November last year.
His body has been kept at Abidjan Medical Division. The body will be brought back home after all the formalities of the United Nations.
