COX'S BAZAR, Mar 15: Police recovered two bodies from Sonadia Island of the district on Thursday afternoon.
Their identities could not be ascertained.
Sources said local people found four bodies floating in the west bay of the island on Thursday morning. On information, police went to the spot and recovered two bodies from Sonadia west beach.
But, the law enforcers could not recover two other bodies and suspect they were washed away.
Pradip Kumar Das, officer in-charge of Moheshkhali thana, said the bodies were sent to the morgue of district sadar hospital for autopsy.
