The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecasted four days of rain from today (Tuesday).
Sylhet recorded 113 mm of rain in the past 24 hours untill Monday morning, the highest level in the country. The highest temperature was recorded in Mongla at 36.2 degrees Celsius, while the lowest temperature at 24.4 degrees Celsius in Tetulia.
Many parts of the Mymensingh, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions, some parts of the Dhaka and Barishal divisions, and one or two places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Khulna divisions may see thunderstorms in the 24 hours.
