Couple found dead at Ctg hotel

CHATTOGRAM, June 01:A couple was found dead at a residential hotel in the port city of Chattogram today (Monday).

Police sources said Mohamamd Ripon (47) and his wife Sonia Akter (30) were found dead in a room of the Royel Park Hotel in Foy's Lake area of the city.

The police sources added Sonia was Ripon's second wife. The couple had checked into the hotel on Sunday noon and their bodies were found in the room the following morning.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Akbarshah thana Md Kamruzzaman said, "Getting no response from the room of the couple, the hotel authorities informed the matter to the police. A police team rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies around 11 am."
