Ctg Press Club executives elected

CHITTAGONG, Jan 1: Kalim Sarwar and Mohsin Chowdhury have been elected president and general secretary respectively of Chittagong Press Club. The election was held on December 31 at the press club.

Other members elected on the Chittagong Press Club executive committee are Kazi Abul Mansur - senior vice president, Salauddin Md Reza - vice president, Farid Uddin Chowdhury - joint secretary, Tapash Barua Rumu - finance secretary, Shahidullah Shahriar - cultural secretary, Golam Mowla Murad - sports secretary, Md Shawkat Osman - library secretary, Ayub Ali - social services and entertainment secretary, Alamgir Sabuj - publicity and publications secretary and executive committee members are Shahid Ul Alam, Faruk Iqbal, Shamsul Huq Haidari and Moazzemul Hoque.

Some 213 voters out of 219 cast their votes in the election.
