CHATTOGRAM, June 09: A newspaper hawker was killed in a road accident in the Kattoli area in Chattogram at 7am this (Thursday) morning.
He was identified as Md Jakir Hossain (42), son of Mokbul Hossain in the Ispahani gate area in the port city.
Sources said newspaper hawker Md Jakir Hossain was going to distribute newspapers. A speeding bus ran over him in Kattoli High School gate area at Kattoli. Locals sent him to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for treatment. But he died on the way to the hospital.
