CU admission process date extended

CHITTAGONG, Sept 25 (BSS): The authority of Chittagong University (CU) today extended the last date of admission process for six days for the first-year honours courses under 2014-15 academic session.

CU deputy registrar (Academic) SM Akbar Hossain said the admission procedures would continue until October 2 instead of September 26.

"Admission seekers will be able to register for the admission tests till 11.59pm on October 2", he said adding that the admission test of the C-Unit (Business Faculty) will be held on November 5 instead of October 31.

Details of the admission test, registration procedure and examination schedules are available on the university website: www.cu.ac.bd, he added.

Another report adds:  CU will go on a 45-day vacation on the occasion of Durga Puja and Eid-ul-Azha from Saturday.

Acting registrar of CU Engineer M Alamgir Chowdhury said the classes of the university will remain closed from September 27 to November 8 while administrative activities will remain closed from October 1 to October 9.
