The admission test of first year honours courses (session 2009-10) at the Chittagong University (CU) will begin today (Sunday), reports UNB.
Some 107,122 admission seekers will take part in the admission tests against 3,328 seats for 2009- 10 academic session of the university.
The university authorities have increased 300 seats for the first year honours courses this year under its 35 departments and two institutes, official sources said.
Meanwhile, the admission test of 'Ka' unit (Science Faculty) and 'Cha' unit (Institute of Forestry and Environmental Science) will be held Monday while that of 'Jha' unit (Biological Science) and 'Chha' unit (Institute of Marine Science) Tuesday, and 'Ga' unit (Commerce Faculty for Science and Humanities students) Wednesday.
