Customs intelligence recovered 10 gold bars Saturday weighing 1.160 kg hidden inside two mobile phones and arrested a passenger in this regard at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the city, reports BSS.
"The passenger Mohammad Abu Taher alias Mohammad Abdur Rahim (43), from Satkania, Chittagong, reached Shahjalal Airport at around 12.15 pm from Chittagong by Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight BG: 122.
"We challenged him on suspicion and recovered the gold bars hidden inside two Huawei mobile phones," a customs intelligence release said.
