Students of Adamjee Cantonment Public School (ACPS) and their guardians formed a human chain in front of the city's National Press Club Friday seeking realisation of their eight-point demand including a cut to the recent fee hike.
Other demands include no increase in session fee, putting an end to charging exorbitant fee in the name of development and donation, resignation of Vice-Principal Abdus Salam, stopping compulsory coaching for students and serving of standard food in the school canteen.
Over a hundred students of the school and their guardians joined the human chain and protested the fee hike order. They displayed various placards drawing attention of the prime minister to their demands.
