Cyber security training for female journos held

Speakers at a training programme on cyber security on Tuesday stressed the need for creating awareness among female journalists about deliberate use of information in digital devices to reduce risks of hackers and malware-related crimes.

Females become victims of cyber crime but they can play effective role in prevention of the related crimes, they observed.

Internet Society Bangladesh chapter and Technology Media Guild Bangladesh organised the training programme for a group of members of Bangladesh Nari Sangabadik Kendra at Economic Reporters Forum auditorium.

BNSK President Nasimun Ara Haque Minu addressed the programme while Lead Engineer of Pridesys IT Limited Md Syedul Islam, Managing Director of DeCodes Lab Ltd Arif Mainuddin and TMGB General Secretary Mursalin Haque Zonaid conducted training as resource persons.
