A cyclone, two or three heat waves and flash floods are likely to sweep across the country in April, the Met office said Saturday, reports bdnews24.com.
Met office chief Sujit Kumar Dev Sharma told the news agency that precipitation had been scarce for this time of the year due to absence of a westerly wind, but rainfall would pick up soon.
April's weather forecast warned that a strong nor'westerly was likely to blow over the country towards the end of the month.
