David Meale joins US Embassy as deputy chief of mission

David Meale has joined the US Embassy in Dhaka as its new Deputy Chief of Mission, reports UNB.

Meale was previously the Counsellor for Economic Affairs at the US Embassy in Kiev, Ukraine, says a press release Monday.

With over 20 years in the US Foreign Service, he also served as Deputy Director of the Office of Monetary Affairs in the Economic Bureau and held assignments in China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Guinea, on the Israel Desk in Washington, and as a student at the National Defense University.
