Day-long camp to provide free eye, healthcare

A day-long eye and healthcare camp will be held on Mirpur Udoyan School and College's premises in the capital Thursday, reports UNB.
Vision Bangladesh Project of Islamia Eye Hospital will provide eye-care services to the poor patients free of cost during the camp.  Dhaka Ahsania Mission Cancer and General Hospital, and some other local clinics will provide free healthcare services to patients on cancer, autism, and other diseases.
Uddogee Social Welfare Organisation (USWO), a local voluntary organisation, will arrange the eye and healthcare camp, said a press release.
The voluntary organisation will also honour some six freedom-fighters in recognition of their contribution to the country's liberation war in 1971.
