Death anniv of Poet Abdul Wahab Miah

Today (Monday) is the first death anniversary of poet and retired government officer Abdul Wahab Miah. His pen name was 'Andharmanaik'. He was born in the Harirampur Upazila of Manikgonj district and his life history has been included on the volume of Manikgonjer Shoto Manik.

He was the President of Kabi Jashimuddin Parishad, Dhaka and a life member of Manikgonj Cultural Society. As a recognition, he received awards from Kabi Jashimuddin and Kabi Shukanto Parishad. As his last wish he has been buried at the graveyard of Kahinoor-Wahab Madrasha in Sardarhat, Dimla, Nilphamari which was established by him. All friends, relatives and well-wishers are kindly requested to pray for the departed soul".
