Nurnabi The 43rd death anniversary of martyred Nurnabi will be observed today (Sunday).
In this day of 1971, the Pakistan Army arrested Nurnabi in front of the residence of his father erstwhile government officer late Sirajul Hoque Chowdhury in the Balurghat and killed him in the Dhaka Cantonment. Nurnabi was the student of Class X of Balughat High School under Dhaka Cantonment and Vice-President of Student Front Organisation, said a press release.
On the occasion, a Milad Mahfil has been arranged at martyred Nurnabi's brother Salim Nazrul, executive general manager of Uttara Bank Ltd, residence at Nayapaltan in the city.
