DFID to provide BRAC a grant of Tk 2.049b

Department for International Development (DFID) will provide a grant of Tk 2.049 billion (£18.5 million) to BRAC for supporting the operation of BRAC's Education Programme for the financial year 2009-2010.
An agreement was signed between BRAC and DFID for the programme Wednesday, said a press release.
The programme is funded by a consortium of donors including the government of the United Kingdom.
