DGHS's former director Dr TH Khan dies

Dr Tofazzal Hossain (TH) Khan, a former director of the Directorate General of Health Service (DGHS), passed away on Sunday. He was 88, reports UNB.

TH Khan breathed his last at around 9:30 am after suffering a cardiac arrest at his Uttara residence, his son and BNP national executive committee's training affairs secretary Prof Morshed Hasan told the news agency.

He is survived by his wife, three sons and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.

Morshed Hasan, also a former teacher of Dhaka University, said his father was buried at a graveyard in Uttara's 12-no sector after Asar prayers following a namaz-e-janaza.
