The two-day polls to elect the leaders of the Dhaka Bar Association, the largest Bar of the country, will be held on February 25 and 26, when its around 20 thousand members will choose their leaders for 2015-16 term, reports BSS.
The candidates from the pro-Awami League (AL) White Panel and the Pro-BNP Blue Panel will vie for a total of 25 posts, including president and general secretary.
Advocate Saidur Rahman Manik and Advocate Ayubur Rahman are contesting from the White Panel while Advocate Masud Ahmed Talukder and Advocate Omar Faruk Faruki are contesting from the Blue Panel for the post of president and general secretary respectively.
