Dhaka Club observing foundation anniversary

Dhaka Club, a premier social club of the country, is observing its 98th foundation anniversary, said a press release.
Dhaka Club President Sadat Hossain Salim inaugurated the weeklong foundation anniversary programme in the city Wednesday.
To commemorate the event the club had chalked out cultural programmes and sports tournaments.
The club will honour some of its senior members who have long association with the club and made meaningful contribution to the society.
Eminent economist and member of the club Professor Rehman Sobhan will be honoured with 'Life Time Achievement Award' for his immense contribution in the field of economics.
