COMILLA, May 9 (UNB): Train services of Dhaka and Chittagong and Dhaka-Sylhet resumed early Saturday after a suspension for about four and a half hours due to derailment of a train in sadar upazila on Friday.
Comilla railway station master Shafiqur Rahman said six wheels of the engine of the Chittagong-bound 'Nasirabad Express' train veered off the track at Jangalia near Moynamoti Railway Station around 10:10pm, halting train movement on the two routes. However, no causality was reported.
However, the train services on the two routes resumed around 2:30 am after a relief train from Laksam rushed to the spot and salvaged the derailed engine, said Shafiqur.
