Dhaka Int'l Book Fair begins tomorrow

State Minister for Cultural Affairs Promod Mankin Wednesday urged the people to develop the habit of reading books for enriching their knowledge, reports BSS.
The state minister made the call while leading a procession in the capital, which was arranged on the occasion of Dhaka International Book Fair beginning tomorrow (Friday).
"The Dhaka International Book Fair is being organised to create scopes for less educated people in society to read books," the state minister said while addressing the participants in front of the Jatiya Press Club (JPC).
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs and the National Book Centre are jointly organising the fair to encourage the common people in studying more, said the minister, adding "We want to see every one in society with the habit of going through books ."
