Police recovered the body of a female student from the kitchen of the nursing hostel of the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) Thursday, reports BSS.
The deceased was identified as Nurunahar (22) of Kalihati under Tangail district. Police could not give details of the incident.
Sources said Nurunahar was found hanging from the door of the kitchen with a scarf tied around her neck. Police recovered her body at 5.30 am Thursday.
She was a second year student of diploma in nursing and staying at room no-5 of the nursing hostel.
A case was registered with Shahbagh thana in this connection.
