DMP urges city dwellers to avoid some roads today

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) on Thursday urged city dwellers to keep away from using some roads at different places in the capital as medical college admission exams will be held today (Friday).

The exams for admission to 18 public medical colleges and one dental college for the 2024-2025 session will be held at 10: 00 am at 19 centres in the country including Dhaka.

Of the total, 16 centres are located in the capital.

The exams will be held at centres including Dhaka University campus, Udayan High School, Engineering University School and College (BUET campus), Begum Badrunnessa Government College, Dhaka Medical College, Viqarunnissa Noon School and College (New Bailey Road), Siddheshwari Girls College (New Bailey Road), Sher-e- Bangla Agriculture University (Agargaon), Dhaka Residential Model School and College (Agargaon), Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Government Girls High School, Eden Girls College, Government Bangla College (Mirpur) and Government Titumir College (Mohakhali).

A mass circular signed by the DMP commissioner issued on Thursday said that the number of vehicles on the roads in those areas might rise on the day due to the medical test exams.

It urged the city dwellers to avoid those areas roads as much as possible.
