The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has fined 137 business entities over Tk two million.
A total of 58 officials of central, divisional and district-level DNCRP officials carried out drives against 137 business entities at Chawkbazar, Moulvibazar, New Market, Elephant Road in the capital and some other areas of the country on Wednesday under Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009.
They were fined for violation of consumer rights.
