A Chattogram Medical College doctor died as Information Secretary Kamrun Nahar, UNO Md Rabiul Hossain and his wife at Dagonbhuiyan upazila in Feni and Mayor of Kotalipara Pourasava in Gopalganj Al-haz Md.Kamal Daria have been infected with coronavirus.
Meanwhile, 280 tested positive for Covid-19 and five died in Chattogram as virus cases reached 2,903 in Khulna division with 7 more deaths in the last 24 hours.
Our Chattogram Correspondent says: A doctor of Chattogram Medical College who had recovered from Covid-19 after receiving plasma therapy died at a private hospital on Wednesday.
Dr Samirul Islam Babu, 51, an associate professor of the Chattogram Medical College, contracted coronavirus while on duty and tested positive on May 10. He was the first patient to undergo plasma therapy in the port city.
