DPS STS School launches Duke of Edinburgh\\\'s Int\\\'l Award

The launching programme of The Duke of Edinburgh\'s Int\'l Award organised by DPS STS School in progress at Uttara of the city Tuesday.

Students of DPS STS School will have the privileges through the world's most prestigious award programme 'The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award.'
The school authority officially launched the award programme on its campus at Uttara of the city Tuesday, says a press release.
The programme started with welcome speech of Madhu Wal, Vice Principal of DPS STS School. In her speech, she said, "DEA programme is a landmark for the school and encouraged students to join the programme."
 Dr KM Shariful Huda, national director of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award Foundation Bangladesh (DEAFB), explained the benefits and importance of the award briefly. The award coordinator Imran Wahiduzzaman made the power-point presentation on the award.
Rizwan Bin Farouq, EC chairman of DEAFB, was present as the chief guest on the occasion and in his speech he said,  "DEA programme is a journey with full of  fun  and  he inspired the students to join the programme so that they can develop themselves holistically."   
Principal of DPS STS School Harsh Wal, also a DEA award holder, formally announced the launching of the award and invited all eligible students to avail themselves of the opportunity.  
EC chairman of DEA presented a visual identity for the DEA to the School Principal and formally announced DEP STS School as a partner of The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award, Bangladesh to conduct the programme.
The DEA EC chairman conducted an interactive question-answer session to make clear different sections and issues of the award. Students and parents actively participated in the session.
