Dr Azizul Haque made BAEC chair

Dr Md Azizul Haque, a noted nuclear scientist, has been appointed Chairman of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Commission (BAEC), says a statement.

He was serving as member (planning) of the commission immediately before getting his new appointment and before that he was also the DG of the Bangladesh Atomic Energy Research Establishment in Savar.

Mr Haque started his career at the BAEC as a scientific officer in 1989.
