The 6th death anniversary of Dr Khashruzzaman Choudhury, a recipient of Swadhinata Padak (Posthumous), will be observed today (Monday), says a press release.
Dr Khashruzzaman Choudhury organised freedom fighters during the Liberation War in 1971 in Kishoreganj district where he was serving as the Sub-Divisional Officer.
A Master's degree holder from the Kennedy School of Government in Havard University of USA, Dr Khashruzzaman contributed articles in Bengali and English in different journals.
His family members have requested all to pray for the departed soul.
