The 16th death anniversary of Dr M Youssouf Ali, a fisheries biologist, policy planner, administrator and advocate for protecting the open water fishery resources in the country, will be observed today (Friday), said a press release.
He died of old age complication on July 31 in 1999.
The family members of the deceased have requested all to pray for salvation of the departed soul.
He was born in Tupipara village under Sreepur Upazila of Magura district on December 1, 1926.
