Dr Zafar Iqbal injured in B'baria road crash

BRAHMANBARIA, Jan 15 (UNB): Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, noted writer and professor of the Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, along with one of his colleagues received minor injuries in a road accident on Dhaka-Sylhet highway Friday.
Police said a microbus carrying Dr Iqbal and his colleague Dr Sujoy Chakrabarti crashed into a standing a truck at Birpasha under Madhabpur Upazila at about 6.00am as the driver lost his control over steering.
They were given treatment at Madhabpur Upazila health complex.
Later, Dr Chakrabarty was admitted to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital.
