Drinking water supply to Rampura been contaminated

Drinking water supply to Rampura and adjoining areas has been contaminated following leaks in the Dhaka WASA pipeline resulting in major health issue in the region.
The dwellers of the region have taken the matter to the attention of the chief adviser Dr. Fakhruddin Ahmed as the authorities concerned were not responding to their repeated pleas.
Around 252 dwellers of Rampura and adjoining areas, in a letter to the chief adviser, said children of most of the families in the region are suffering from diseases like diarrhoea due to contamination of drinking waters.
